Our Story
Quil Capital started with a simple frustration. Our founders — a mix of software engineers and former market analysts — kept watching friends give up on investing because the tools felt confusing or, worse, a little predatory. So in 2023 we set out to build something different: an AI platform that does the heavy lifting but still explains itself like a patient friend.
The first version was rough, honestly. A closed beta in early 2024 taught us more than any spreadsheet could. Testers in Halifax, Toronto and Kelowna told us what confused them, and we rebuilt the dashboard twice before opening the doors to the public.
